Hillsborough County leads Florida in human trafficking cases

TAMPA, Fla. — More than 220 human trafficking cases were reported in Hillsborough County last year, that’s more than anywhere else in the state of Florida. Now, the commission on human trafficking said that’s not even the whole story, because so many cases go unreported. They said funding is a key part to finding victims, investigating cases, and helping survivors in need.
