‘Columbine Pt 2’: 15-year-old charged after threatening shooting at Brandon High School

BRANDON, Fla. (WFLA) — A Brandon High School student was arrested on Thursday after threatening a school shooting on social media, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies stationed at the school received a tip that the teen had posted the threat, which he later admitted during an interview.

“This [censored] is not [censored] humane I want to commit Columbine PT2,” the boy wrote on social media.

HCSO said when the student was asked about the threat, he said it was intended as “dark humor.”

No weapons were found with the teen or anywhere on school property…
