Tampa judge removed from Julio Foolio murder case

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— The judge involved in the murder trial of a rapper in Tampa has been disqualified.

Judge Michelle Sisco has been removed after a defense attorney cited “hostile comments.”

According to court documents, Alicia Andrews faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted for first-degree murder as a principal or conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

“Instead of receiving the cold neutrality from the trial court that Ms. Andrews was entitled to, the trial court did everything in its power to ensure that Ms. Andrews was convicted at trial. The trial court showed favoritism to the State, attempted to publicly humiliate the Defense counsels at every turn, and ultimately refused to rescue itself despite the obvious bias towards the Defense,” court documents said…
