TAMPA, Florida — A 62-year-old Tampa man has been sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for disclosing classified information related to U.S. national defense.
Kevin Charles Luke, of Tampa, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge James Moody, Jr., according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. Luke pleaded guilty on October 7, 2025, admitting to abusing a position of public trust, as stated in his plea agreement.
Court documents reveal that Luke served in both active duty and reserve components of the United States Army from 1981 until his retirement as a Colonel on June 30, 2018.
