‘Something is … fishy’: Parents say deceased daughter listed as plaintiff in court action

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Riverview man’s quest to get back a truck he says should not have been repossessed has taken another alarming twist.

The plaintiff shown in court records to have reopened a 14-year-old court case that led to this seizure would not have been able to hire an attorney to do this according to her parents. That because, they say, she died in 2021, complications from COVID.
