TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The leader of a Columbian drug trafficking organization has been convicted by a Tampa jury, the Department of Justice said Tuesday.
A jury found Celso Navarro Diaz, 65, of Columbia, guilty of conspiring to import more than five kilograms of cocaine into the United States. He faces a second count for trafficking drugs into the U.S. by boat.
