Juvenile In Custody Following Zephyrhills Stabbing And Vehicle Theft

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities have confirmed an arrest in connection with a stabbing that triggered a heavy law enforcement presence in a Zephyrhills neighborhood Saturday morning. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office initially responded to the Pure Water Way area around 10:25 a.m. to investigate reports of a violent encounter.

Upon arrival, deputies located an adult man suffering from “life-threatening injuries.” The victim was immediately “transported to a hospital” for emergency treatment. While the suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement, investigators quickly determined that the parties involved were not strangers.

Following a search for the suspect, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office announced that a juvenile was taken into custody. The minor faces a series of felony charges, including “attempted homicide while engaged in burglary, vehicle theft, and burglary with aggravated battery.”…
