Benefit of controversial Tampa Flood relief project called into question

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — People in the Parkland Estates neighborhood in South Tampa have been complaining for years about flooding in their neighborhood. The city has planned an extensive flood relief project to help.

The South Howard Business Alliance is fighting the project because they say it will put people out of work, and many businesses will not survive because traffic on Howard Avenue will be blocked in parts for up to four years.
