TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Fireworks caused a major commotion in downtown Tampa on Monday night.
Video from WFLA’s tower camera showed a barrage of fireworks being set off from a boat on the Hillsborough River by Curtis Hixon Park just before 9 p.m.

It lasted for a few minutes, and then the boat drove away.
Residents took to Reddit to share videos from their apartment balconies. Perplexed users reported that they could hear the booming fireworks throughout downtown, Davis Islands and as far away as Ybor City.
There was no evident explanation for the commotion on Monday night…
