TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Safety improvements are in place in Ybor City following a deadly crash on 7th Avenue, Tampa officials say.
Four people were killed and more than a dozen were injured when a car slammed into Bradley’s on 7th in November. Mayor Jane Castor says, “Our hearts are with the victims.”
According to the mayor, Ybor City is one of the safest areas in Tampa. She explains, “There’s not a lot that we can do as a city, as a government, as individuals to stop reckless behavior or those who make bad decisions or those who are really bent on destruction, but we can control some things — that’s why we’re out here today.”…
