New Latin breakfast and lunch spot debuts to rave reviews in South Tampa

Mornings in South Tampa just got a little tastier. The Latin-inspired Eleven 80Cafe just opened at 2109 S Dale Mabry, and already the family-owned eatery is getting rave reviews.

Photos and videos of their empanadas fried in beef tallow, gargantuan plantain-and-bean-stuffed sandwiches, delectable coffees and Latin breakfast platters have quickly started popping up all over social media. While it’s still early, Eleven80 has a perfect five-star rating on Google reviews after two weeks of operation. Eleven80 Cafe is open from 7 am – 2 pm Wednesday-Monday, providing early birds with an easy stop on the way to work. Eleven80 also features a variety of sandwiches, as well as traditional breakfast platters like bacon and eggs, build your own omelets, or eggs and hash. While the hefty sandwiches catch our eyes, it will be the empanadas we try out first. Eleven80 is adamant that frying their housemade empanadas in beef tallow sets them apart, adding depth and flavor you won’t find otherwise…
