TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Days after an emaciated puppy was found abandoned on the side of the road, two more dogs were brought into the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, both in the same condition.
A 9-month-old Doberman named Zeus and a 6-year-old Mastiff named Bowser came to the Humane Society on Friday, severely emaciated to the point that their ribs could be seen protruding from their bodies.
The Humane Society said that both dogs are now safe and receiving the care they need.
The shelter also wanted to note that, for those struggling to feed their pets, they offer a free Pet Pantry with bags of pet food that is available at their Hillsborough and Pinellas locations every Tuesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m…
