A Tampa woman was arrested after rolling up her window and calling 911 to speak with a supervisor during a traffic stop at a local Walmart.
A deputy was headed southbound on Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 318 when he noticed a black four-door sedan slowly driving in the fast lane on Saturday afternoon, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the tag revealed the registered owner, 35-year-old Robin Elizabeth Miller, did not have a driver’s license.
The deputy continued to pace the vehicle at 70 mph all the way to Mile Marker 315, where it changed to the far-right lane and took Exit 314. Miller then made a left turn onto County Road 48. She failed to stay in her lane before making a lane change to the right lane, the report said.
At that point, the deputy pulled over the vehicle in the Walmart parking lot, located at 2163 W C 48, Bushnell. A subsequent check of Miller’s license confirmed it had been cancelled on Dec. 29, 2025. She signed for an ID card from the DMV that same day, the report said…
