TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A deadly crash at New York’s LaGuardia Airport is already impacting travelers in Tampa.
As of Monday morning, Tampa International Airport’s flight boards showed several cancellations, including multiple flights to LaGuardia, after the New York airport shut down following the overnight crash.

Port Authority officials said an Air Canada Express plane carrying 72 passengers and four crew members collided with an airport rescue vehicle while landing at LaGuardia late Sunday night. Officials said dozens of people were hurt, with 41 taken to the hospital. By Monday morning, 32 of those patients had been released. LaGuardia was expected to remain closed through at least 2 p.m., with that being the earliest possible reopening time.
