After nearly two decades on the corner of W Kennedy Boulevard and S Sterling Avenue, South Tampa steakhouse Renzo’s will move to a new location less than two miles away.
Renzo Menzerotolo told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay he hopes to soft open at 122 S Howard Ave. by May. Both the new location and the original will operate at the same time before the lease at 3644 W Kennedy Blvd. runs out on Sept. 30.
Menzerotolo added that his original landlord sold the Kennedy Boulevard property a few years ago and that the new managing company’s rates were forcing Menzerotolo to look for a new spot. He even came close to signing leases in downtown Tampa and Water Street…
