AquaFence, which is relocating its U.S. headquarters to Tampa, has begun installing flood protection systems at two Naples hospital campuses.
The company started test installations and staff training April 22 at Naples Comprehensive Health’s North Naples campus, with additional systems planned for the Baker Downtown campus. The project includes about 800 linear feet of barriers designed to protect emergency department entrances, loading areas and other critical access points.
AquaFence has deployed similar systems at facilities including Tampa General Hospital. The system was used at TGH during Hurricane Helene, allowing the hospital to maintain operations through the storm. AquaFence provides modular systems designed for rapid deployment ahead of severe weather events…
