Convicted felon arrested with multiple weapons in Hillsborough County

TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A 25-year-old convicted felon was arrested Thursday after detectives recovered several weapons and ammunition during an investigation, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Carnel Daniels was arrested May 14 by detectives with HCSO’s Strategic Gun Intelligence Unit. The sheriff’s office said the investigation involved felon-in-possession-of-a-firearm charges.

Detectives conducted surveillance before making a traffic stop, according to HCSO. They later served a search warrant at Daniels’ home on North Armenia Avenue.
