Peter Murrietta has had a long and successful career in film and television. He is a multiple Emmy winner, known for series like “Mr. Iglesias,” “Lopez,” “Greetings from Tucson” and Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Today, Murrieta is deputy director of Arizona State University’s Sidney Poitier New American Film School.
Now Murrietta is out with a new book alongside leading Latinx media studies scholar Frederick Luis Aldama called “Two Vatos Talk Pop Cultura.” It came out of their podcast of the same name.
