PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Our First Alert Weather Day continues into tonight with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms rolling through the Valley. Expect high winds and brief, heavy rain near the base of the thunderstorms and in the upslope areas. A Flood Watch remains in effect for the Valley and most of south-central Arizona until Wednesday evening. A Wind Advisory also remains in effect for most of southeastern and northeastern Arizona, with possible wind gusts from 40-50 mph. When all is said and done, most Valley spots could see three-quartes of an inch of rain.
