MESA, AZ (AZFamily) – A driver was shot on a highway in Mesa early Friday morning, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirms one person is in custody. DPS said a man was shot just before 8 a.m. while driving westbound on U.S. 60 between Power and Higley roads. He then pulled over to the shoulder to call 911.
