Phoenix sees hottest June in over 100 years

PHOENIX – Most people can agree: June was a hot one in Phoenix. But the National Weather Service said it wasn’t just hot. Last month was record-breaking hot. Phoenix recorded the hottest June in recorded history last month. The average temperature was 97 degrees, 1.7 degrees hotter than the runner up hottest June 2021.
