Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever produced an extremely impressive win against Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury.
Despite being down in the game for most of the first half, the Fever battled back in the third and fourth quarter and were ultimately able to fend off the Mercury to earn an 88-82 win.
After the game, the Fever’s YouTube channel posted a Short of Sides entering Indiana’s locker room and delivering a postgame message.
The first thing Sides did in the video was crouch down and scream at the top of her lungs.
“God dang that feels good!” Sides then said. “Here’s all I have to say: With your minutes to go, we were down seven. Y’all, we showed so much poise tonight. And it just felt different. And that’s what it’s supposed to be like.
“This win was huge for us guys,” Sides continued. “Huge team win for us tonight. Huge team win. Proud of y’all.”
Fever fans seemed to like Sides’ screaming.
“I love the deafening volume after this win! You ladies all earned the right to belt it out! Amazing game!” one fan wrote in the video’s comments section.
