The Tempe dining scene has gone from zero to 140 mph in the past year, and it hasn’t hit the checkered flag yet. There is plenty more higher-end dining in the pipeline.
A good, sit-down place to eat was not easy to find downtown as recently as a couple of years ago, aside from Rula Bula and House of Tricks – now both departed – and Caffe Boa, which is still dishing up its European fare.
