Docs: Suspect pointed gun at children at Tempe hotel, shot at cars along I-10

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Witnesses describe the chaos after a shots-fired call ended with injured employees and property damage at a popular Tempe resort.

Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim called 911 saying he was shot and had run into the Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes. The victim described the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Jesus Enriquez-Gonzalez, and reported that he was shooting in the parking lot.

Around the same time, 911 got a call about a man shooting at cars near I-10 and U.S. 60, also believed to be Enriquez-Gonzales. One 911 caller described Enriquez-Gonzalez and his vehicle, which was later found on a pedestrian bridge near I-10, where it appeared to have bullet damage before being towed as evidence…
