Apache Junction animal control facility set to reopen after major repairs

PHOENIX — The city of Apache Junction announced that its animal control facility will reopen to the public on Tuesday.

The announcement comes after the facility, located at 725 E. Baseline Ave., was temporarily relocated in June for major repair and construction work.

The purpose of the work was to address a persistent rodent problem that the city’s animal control had tried multiple times to resolve.
