Phoenix school principal forced to pay hundreds out-of-pocket to feed students

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Students at Phoenix’s City View High School have gone without lunch several times this year. The principal of the charter school states that the school lacks sufficient funds to provide meals to its students.

City View is a charter school funded by the nonprofit Arizona Center for Youth Resources. Currently, the principal reports that the nonprofit has allocated only $6,600 for lunch for the school year, which will only last until January.
