An early Thursday morning crash in Tempe has resulted in the tragic death of a teenage motorcyclist. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident occurred just after midnight on Dec. 11 when a motorcycle, carrying two individuals, lost control at the Red Mountain Loop 202 westbound on-ramp at Priest Drive.

“The motorcycle went down. While the passenger managed to walk away with minor injuries, a vehicle struck the motorcycle driver, who was pronounced deceased on the scene,” the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported.
