A fatal head-on collision Friday morning in Glendale near the intersection of 51st and Peoria aveunues will affect traffic for most of the morning.
Glendale Police stated in a release the intersection is closed in all directions so commuters should avoid this area. Detectives are on their way to investigate the cause of the crash and the road is expected to be shut down for several hours.
