If there’s one thing better than a cold, freshly brewed beer, it’s pairing that beer with a good pizza.
Now, Tempe is getting both under one roof when Phantom Fox Beer Co. and Goat and Ram opens at Sixth Street and Mill Avenue, according to Downtown Tempe’s official site. According to the original Mesa location, the Tempe taphouse should open this spring.
Trent Smith and Eric Cady opened the community-driven brewery in Downtown Mesa in 2023, offering 22 rotating taps. Beers are generally named after the fantastical, as evidenced by the “Chupacabra”, the “Lost World”, the “Nanook”, “Red Ghost”, and the winter seasonal “Krampus”.
