MAUMEE, Ohio — Originally due for completion this weekend, weekend construction on I-475 southbound has been postponed due to forecasted rain, the Ohio Department of Transportation said Thursday.
The project, which has necessitated the closure of I-475 south between US 24 in Maumee and SR 25 in Perrysburg, was scheduled to be completed over the course of four weekends from May 8 to June 5, excluding Memorial Day weekend. Road work was canceled on the weekend of May 15 due to weather. It resumed the weekend of May 29.
With this weekend’s postponement, weekend closures of I-475 southbound are now shifted to the weekend of June 12-15 and June 19-22, both of which are also weather-permitting…
