After serving as the interim Washington Township police chief for less than a month, Eric Hart is expected to be fully appointed to the position on Tuesday, township officials said.
The Washington Township Board of Trustees will meet to appoint interim Chief Hart to the permanent position, where he will take his oath of office. Mr. Hart has been the interim chief since June 15.
