ADRIAN — MSU Extension instructional designer Amy Shovels told the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners that federal funding for SNAP education has been eliminated.
Shovels said her team is working to preserve 30 years of nutrition and physical-activity programming built through the SNAP-Ed brand.
She outlined five free digital resources now available to residents: an email series on cooking and budgeting, a food-budgeting website, a physical activity website, a recipes website, and a soon-to-launch “Community Change Hub” offering guidance for local leaders…
