One- and two-bedroom apartments at The Glen and three- and four-bedroom townhomes at The Grand are now open in Toledo’s Englewood neighborhood, giving working families access to income-restricted housing on two previously underutilized properties.
The City of Toledo held ribbon-cutting ceremonies last week to mark the openings. According to the city’s announcement, the two developments together represent nearly $30 million in investment and serve households earning between 50% and 70% of the Area Median Income.
The Glen sits on a 3.66-acre portion of the old Southland Shopping Center property at 3440 Glendale Ave. The Grand was built on the former Driggs Dairy site and offers the larger townhome-style units…
