TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – As air quality conditions continue to be a concern, outdoor workers say wearing a mask while doing physically demanding work in the heat creates its own set of challenges.
Jamie Wiztrzykowski, owner of Four Guys and a Roof, said his crews typically start around 6 a.m. and work for about eight hours. The Toledo-based roofing company works across the region, including into Michigan.
“With roofing, imagine being on a roof. It’s hot, it’s humid and everything up there, and you’re hot and sweaty, having that restriction of a breather or a mask,” Wiztrzykowski said…
