LENAWEE CO. — Lenawee County’s two monitored beaches, Hayes and Hudson state parks, saw a bacteria spike following the Fourth of July holiday.
Officials said the increase is common after heavy beach use and rainfall runoff. Neither beach exceeded state bacteria limits, so no advisories were issued.
