LENAWEE CO. — Lenawee County is nearing the end of a lease covering equipment used for its 800-megahertz emergency communications system.
The county made an annual lease payment of about $750,000 this year. County finance staff told the Accounts Payable Committee that one payment remains in 2027. That final payment will exceed $800,000 because it includes a balloon payment.
