A large batch of Old West End Festival shooting evidence slated for delivery Friday to two defendants’ lawyers will bring such delivery close to completion, a prosecutor said in court Tuesday.
The material to be turned over includes extensive surveillance video and cellular communications reports, said Jennifer Liptack-Sutphin, chief of criminal prosecution for the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office.
With that material communicated, 98 percent of discovery will be covered, the prosecutor said, with the main evidence still to be compiled, including body-camera footage from Lucas County sheriff’s deputies working the festival and a report mapping the locations of cell phones relevant to the case…
