TOLEDO, Ohio — A defendant has pleaded not guilty to assisting in the fatal shooting of Devan Calbert outside of a south Toledo bar in August.
Marcus Hughes-Woodley, 44, submitted his plea at his court appearance in the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday. His bond remains at an aggregate of $2.35 million with no option of 10% payment for bail.
He is accused of giving, Victor Davis, 41, the gun Davis allegedly used to shoot Calbert outside the Recovery Room bar on Airport Highway Aug. 1 and then taking it back from him afterward. Davis was arrested Aug. 2, while Hughes-Woodley was arrested Aug. 21…
