TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – An 18-year-old student was arrested Thursday after a gun was found inside his bookbag during a routine weapons check at Scott High School, according to a Toledo Public Schools spokesperson.
Nyjah Carter was arrested and booked into the Lucas County Jail. Carter is charged with carrying concealed weapons and possession of deadly weapons on school premises.
The gun was confiscated without incident and classes continued as normal, TPS said. No direct threats were made to any student, staff member or the school…
