A woman’s body was found Monday afternoon at a former elementary school in West Toledo, authorities said.
Police did not identify the woman, whose body was found on the grounds just after 3 p.m. of what was formerly Wernert Elementary, 5050 Douglas Rd.
The former school is located near the corner of Douglas and West Laskey Road. A police report said the detectives and the Lucas County coroner were looking into the death.
