The Lucas County coroner’s office has identified the woman whose body was found Monday at a former West Toledo school as Angel Mills, 38.
She had hypothermia, but a ruling on the cause and manner of death is pending toxicology and other test results, said Dr. Diane Scala-Barnett, county coroner.
Toledo police said officers were dispatched about 3:05 p.m. Monday to 5050 Douglas Rd, the former Wernert Elementary School to check the safety of a person.
The body was found on the playground, Dr. Barnett said.
