TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A driver is in custody after allegedly leading police on a chase through Toledo before crashing early Friday morning. According to police on scene, on Feb. 2 around 2 a.m., officers attempted to stop Michael Rego, 41, of Toledo, around Heatherdowns Blvd. and Byrne Road. When Rego refused to stop, police began to chase after him.
