Local and federal law enforcement agencies arrested more than 115 people in the Toledo area during a two-week period that ended Friday, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Tuesday.
“Operation Wash Out” was part of a larger national operation that resulted in more than 600 arrests nationally. The effort focused on drug-related and violent crimes, and areas were selected with high overdose rates, including Toledo, authorities said.
Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrests included 40 for narcotics violations, 17 for assault, 7 for weapons violations, and 4 for robbery.
Among those arrested was Tyron Eubanks, who was wanted for various drug charges. The task force and Toledo SWAT were able to locate Eubanks at a home in the 1700 block of Loxley Ave. in Toledo.
During his arrest, law enforcement seized 30 grams of fentanyl, over 4800 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of methamphetamine, 42 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of crack, two shotguns, two handguns, and over $10,000 in U.S. currency.
