Exhibit honoring African American WWII pilots to open at NMGL

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A new micro exhibit honoring the Tuskegee Airmen opens February 9 at The National Museum of the Great Lakes. The Tuskegee Airmen were an elite group of African American military pilots and airmen who fought in World War II. “Taking Flight: The Tuskegee Airmen” examines the connection between these pilots and the Great Lakes.
