TOLEDO, OH – According to a press release issued by the U.S. Marshals Service on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) is announcing a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Jermaine Johnson, a fugitive wanted by the Toledo Police Department for homicide.
According to the press release, on December 18, 2023, Toledo Police responded to a shots-fired call near Bronson and Mulberry Streets in north Toledo.
At the scene, officers discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds, including a tragic loss of a 14-year-old Toledo resident pronounced dead at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Jermaine Johnson was identified as the suspect, prompting the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
Described as a 6-foot 1-inch tall, 220 lbs black male, Johnson is believed to frequent the north end of Toledo, particularly around Michigan and Locust Streets.
Authorities caution the public that Johnson is considered armed and dangerous.
