A new restaurant has opened its doors in downtown Toledo.

On January 30, the new restaurant Assembly American Brasserie opened its doors in downtown Toledo at 101 N Summit St, according to a social media post from the restaurant. You can make reservations for the restaurant on OpenTable.

The new restaurant’s menu includes appetizers like mussels (which are prepared with tomato, onion, garlic, thyme butter, and crème fraîche), pork belly (which comes with gochujang, brown sugar, chili, cucumber salad, and grilled scallion citrus sauce), parmesan frites (which are served with smoked bourbon tomato aioli), and salmon sliders, which are served on brioche buns and come with ginger, sesame, hoisin, and pickled cucumber.

As for main courses, Assembly offers split chicken that’s brined for 12 hours (the chicken is served with butter thyme cast iron potatoes, mushroom ragout, blistered grape tomatoes, and basil citrus butter), steak frites (which are served with citrus chimichurri sauce and chili bourbon aioli), buttermilk walleye fish fry, and cauliflower mushroom bolognese.
