Two males were killed in separate shootings Sunday in Toledo, Toledo police report.
A 16-year-old South Toledo boy died of a gunshot wound early in the morning. Toledo police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Langdon Street just after 1:30 a.m. on a call of a person shot.
Jacob Barrett was treated at the scene and transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he later died, according to police.
Around 2 p.m., police on a person shot call located Micheal Bradford-Washington, 20, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at West Sylvania and Hoiles avenues in West Toledo.
He was treated and transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital where he later died. The location is near Pilgrim Church and the West Toledo Branch Library.
Witnesses at the scene said the victim was heard arguing with someone either in person or on his cell phone when a car pulled out from a nearby parking lot. Shots were fired from the car and struck Bradford-Washington. About 20 orange cones were used by police to mark spent shell casings at the scene.
