TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The officer in charge of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Toledo station was permanently relieved of his duties following an investigation. According to a statement from the agency, Chief Petty Officer Robert Holm was relieved of his duties as the officer in charge of the Toledo station on Jan. 25. He was initially temporarily relieved while an investigation was underway. That investigation later determined he failed to meet “personal qualification requirements” and failed to “properly administrate unit programs.”
