Man shot, killed in South Toledo tri-plex identified

A 40-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night in South Toledo, police said.

Officers responded to the shooting in the 400 block of Baden Street at 7:40 p.m. and found Sean Leahy with at least one gunshot wound.

Mr. Leahy was treated on scene before being taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, where he later died.

Toledo police have not made any arrests in the case, a report said.

Lt. Dan Gerken said Thursday night that circumstances are unknown with there being no suspects and no arrests.

A woman holding a baby escorted out of the residence was being interviewed as a witness, the lieutenant said.

Police would not say whether the shooting victim lived at the residence or not.
