1 arrested, another at large in June 13 homicide

Police have arrested one man and are searching for a another in a shooting June 13 in North Toledo in which a man was killed and a young girl was critically wounded.

Marquise Brent, 27, was arrested Monday and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Joshua Davis, 44. He was to be booked into the Lucas County jail pending arraignment, police said.

The second suspect, Ontrionis Armour, 23, is wanted on a murder warrant, police said.

Police responding to a person-shot report at a home in the 300 block of East Lake Street found Davis with at least one gunshot wound. An 11-year-old girl in the home had also been hit.

Both victims were taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where Davis died and the girl was being treated for critical injuries.
